Why Sacks.ie
17 years of knowing which bag does the job
We are an Irish-owned packaging supplier based at Ballymackeogh, Newport, Co. Tipperary, on the Limerick border. We supply building contractors, farmers, fuel merchants, recycling operators and county councils, and we will just as happily sell a single bag to somebody doing a garden job.
-
No minimum order, genuinely
Most suppliers make you buy a pallet. We do not. One bag or a thousand, same trade price structure.
-
We know the specification
Safe working loads, 5:1 versus 6:1 strength ratings, GSM weights, UV treatment. Ring us and describe the job.
-
Next day, nationwide
DPD before 2pm gets it to site tomorrow. Or collect from the yard the same day.
Common questions
Questions we get asked every week
Can I buy just one bulk bag?
Yes. We have no minimum order quantity. Order a single bag or a full pallet load at the same trade rates, with the same next day delivery. This is the main thing that separates us from most Irish suppliers.
How fast is delivery in Ireland?
Next day DPD delivery nationwide on orders placed before 2pm. Collection is also available from our yard at Ballymackeogh, Newport, Co. Tipperary, just outside Limerick.
What size is a standard one tonne bag?
A standard one tonne bag is 85 x 85 x 85cm with a 1000kg weight rating and a 5:1 strength rating. Tunnel lift versions are 89 x 89 x 85cm. If you are lifting with a teleporter or crane, tell us the machine and we will confirm the right bag.
Do you print custom branding on bulk bags?
Yes. We supply printed one tonne bags and custom branded packaging. We also carry misprinted bags at a discount: identical strength and specification, but carrying another company’s branding.
What are misprint bulk bags?
Brand new bags that carry incorrect or another company’s printing. Structurally identical to standard bags, sold at a significant discount from €3.60. If the branding does not matter for your job, this is the cheapest way to buy.
Can I pay over the phone?
Yes. If your card fails 3D Secure bank verification online, call 061 373 402 and we will complete the order over the phone. This is a common issue with Irish business cards and it is not a problem.
Order before 2pm. On site tomorrow.
